- Executive Directors of Member Agencies share information and strategies with one
another
- Membership meetings are opportunities for partnership and discussion with State
and local leaders
- FSANJ Membership Meetings occur five times a year in September, November, January,
March and May
FSANJ Training Institute
FSANJ is committed to providing cost-efficient training opportunities on a regional
basis for members in the following areas:
- Upper Level Management Skills
- Supervisor/Program Manager Skills
- Customer Service for Support Staff
- Philanthropy (in partnership with the Resource Development Services of the Alliance
for Children and Families)
Topics are determined by member interest. Executive Level Training is determined
by member interest presented at membership meetings.
Advocacy
- Voice for members regarding issues that impact their ability to provide the highest
quality of service to our communities
- Voice for community issues affecting children, families and seniors with state
leaders
- Member of the Anti-Poverty Network
Representation
- FSANJ is an active participant on various Department of Human Services Committees
and Task Forces
- FSANJ is an active participant on various Department of Children and Family Services
Committees and Task Forces
- FSANJ is an active partner in various community advocacy coalitions whose central
purpose is improving conditions for children, families and seniors and the not-for-profit
agencies that serve them
EAP Agreement
- Staff of FSANJ member agencies are entitled to receive outpatient counseling services
at other member agencies according to an EAP Agreement amongst members.
